Yemi Alade and Wizkid to represent Nigeria at BET


Yemi Alade and Wizkid have made the cut on the newly released BET Awards 2015 Nomination list.
The Nigerian acts who have had a spectacular are up for the award in the Best International Act: Africa category.
Yemi Alade and Wizkid will come up against competition from a number of stellar African acts including South Africa’s AKA, Ghana’s Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, Kenyan Sauti Sol, South Africa’s The Soil, and DR Congo’s Makossa King, Fally Ipupa.

Money Doublers Two men paraded in Kwara for attempting to dupe woman of N700,000

The suspects were apprehended after the victim raised an alarm concerning the fake promise. They were about to collect an additional sum of N500,000 from the woman. The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have paraded two fraudsters in Kwara State, for attempting to dupe a businesswoman of the sum of N700,000. According to the  Daily Post , the suspects promised to double the money for the woman using a chemical. Pedro Awili , the state commandant of the NSCDC, said that the men first approached the woman telling her that they needed N100,000 to buy the chemical. Atletico Madrid Diego Simeone and his model girlfriend Carla Pereira were pictured letting their heads down in the resort of Marbella. Simeone showed off his stripped abs as him and his model girlfriend Carla Pereira were seen relaxing before the Argentine kicks off the season proper with Atletico Madrid. The 45-year-old started dating Carla Pereira last year and the couple decided to spend time together at the resort. The pair were also spotted riding bikes around the town and relaxing on a large sunbed. N.D.L.A and other prevented from arresting Senator-elect Buruji Kashamu by Court order

A Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and other security agencies from arresting Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu . The order was given on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, after a previous ruling instructing NDLEA officials to vacate Kashamu’s residence. Officials of the agency had invaded Kashamu’s house on Saturday, May 23, 2015, in a bid to arrest and extradite him to the US to face drug charges.
