It’s official! Donald Trump is U.S. president-elect

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump has won the United States presidential election making him the next and 45th president.

Trump who is the Republican candidate in the election defeated his closest rival Hillary Clinton in a keenly contested battle.

Trump has so far won 276 electoral votes surpassing the needed 270 votes as against Clinton’s 215.
